Classes and Workshops Registration and Payments Policy
Classes and workshops are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment in full is required to register for classes and workshops. WAC class registration is only accepted through our online registration page and accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
Cancellation and Refunds:
If WAC cancels a course, students can choose a full refund or transfer to another course.
For Students who withdraw:
8 or more days before the start of a workshop, their options are:
- Transfer to another course: Payments already made will be applied towards the new class or workshop. The remaining balance, if any, will be refunded.
- Receive a refund: A 15% administrative fee will be deducted from the refund if a student chooses to be reimbursed by check or credit card. Refunds will be issued within 30 days from the cancellation date.
Within 7 days before the start of a weekly class or workshop, it is NOT possible to transfer to another class or refund any tuition or material fees because they have already been invested in that specific class.
Please Note: Cancellations must be made in writing by email and confirmed by the Windsor Art Center to be valid. Phone cancellations are not accepted. WAC does not issue refunds for classes or workshops missed by the student.
If it is necessary to cancel a meeting of any class or workshop due to inclement weather, instructor illness, or other emergency, WAC will notify students. Weather-related cancellations are noted on the homepage of our website. If we are unable to reschedule the missed day, we will issue a pro-rated tuition refund.
WAC reserves the right to make changes in classes, workshops, schedules, instructors, and cancel a class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment. If a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment students will be notified one week in advance.
Material Fees Policy:
WAC provides materials in classes for our student’s convenience. We must estimate costs many months in advance from when we actually order supplies for your class. All materials kit prices are subject to change. The actual cost of your materials kit will be based on the cost of supplies at the time materials are ordered.
Material Fees are collected at the start of class to be paid to the teacher in CASH:
- If there is a significant change in cost from what was listed with the original class description, WAC will notify students in advance.
- Students are expected to pay the actual materials kit fee when they arrive for the workshop directly to the teacher in CASH.
WAC reserves the right to make changes in classes, workshops, schedules, instructors, and cancel a class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment.
WAC admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded to or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate or collect information on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, and other school-administered programs.
