Visual Art Submission Guidelines and Policies

The Windsor Art Center has one large open space and two smaller galleries for exhibitions. We are currently booked through 2011 and have already begun booking for 2014. We are interested in your work and any proposal you might have for a show. Exhibitions usually involve more than one artist, although under certain circumstances, we will consider a solo show.

We will closely review your proposal. The Center is currently run by a small group of dedicated volunteers all of whom work at other jobs.  It may take us a while to get back to you so please be patient.

We suggest the first point of contact come through this web site with an expression of interest and a link to your own web site or some accompanying jpegs. The curatorial committee will review your work and will either request additional material at that time or let you know of a decision.

Performance at the Windsor Arts Center – Currently booking for 2014.
Since its inception, the Center has offered a variety of programming to complement its exhibitions. This programming, because of space limitations, has included music performances, silent films, poetry readings, and theater. For 2012 and 2013 we are limiting our programming to music and poetry. We welcome inquiries about performance at the Center. Please understand are hours are limited currently to Thursdays 6-8 PM when most performances take place, Saturdays 10-4 (performances are scheduled for afternoons) and Sundays 11-4. Most performances take place on Sundays with Saturdays used for artist’s talks. If you are interested in performing at the Windsor Art Center we invite you to send a query via email with a link to your web site or other space where we can review who you are and what you do. Usually a response comes rather promptly and if we can accommodate you we will.
