Workshops at the Windsor Art Center Studios
Drawing and Painting Flower Plants
Adult artists of all levels welcome.
Instructor: Jeanne Manzelli
Time: Tues. & Thurs. Evenings 6:30-9:00 PM.
Dates: October 8 – 24 (six sessions)
Location: Windsor Art Center Studios
This session is designed to focus your skills on a specific subject through painting and drawing mediums. You will study form, value, and color in one complex subject. There is a long tradition of fascination with plants and flowers: Botanicals of the 18th century, lush studies in the 19th century, and fleshy, sumptuous renditions in the 20th century. There will be lots of examples, techniques and demonstrations.
What to bring: Students are encouraged to bring supplies they prefer working with (oil, acrylic, watercolor or drawing). Experimental materials, tables, chairs and easels will be provided.
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your spot, and balance of tuition is due upon taking class. Payments made to Windsor Art Center.
