The Windsor Art Center's objective is to provide a place that encourages people from the greater Hartford region of varying race, religion, age, sexual identity and socio-economic status to come together and enrich their lives through interaction with authentic works of art of the finest quality.  It is a non-collecting art center, producing frequently changing exhibitions and programs, reflecting and enhancing the artistic life of the Greater Hartford region.  Its goal is to present thought-provoking exhibits, bring outstanding artists to the community, as well as to serve as a resource and support for the teaching of the arts to young people in the community.  The non-profit WACFH will showcase local and regional artists, provide workshops, educate and entertain the public.

In partnership with the Town of Windsor, First Town Down Town, and the Chamber of Commerce, the Art Center is located in the Freight House in the center of town.  We are looking to expand our partners to include businesses from Windsor and surrounding towns interested in supporting the art center and its mission.
